Music by Frederick Loewe with lyrics and book by Alan Jay Lerner. Directed by Bud Wahl. Rumson Town used to be a quiet little hole-in-the-wall town in California in the late 1800s....that is until gold was accidentally discovered. Then the gold rush was on to Rumson Town!  They came by the hundreds from all over with hopes and dreams of striking it rich. Through music written by Frederick Loewe and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner, we hear the story of one such gold mining town and the many different characters that lived it.  Filled with music, laughter, dance and a little romance, Paint Your Wagon has it all.
