On a hill overlooking the small midwestern town of Turtle Rapids, Jake Tomlinson sits where two of his three wives are buried. Jake replays key moments in his life, and, from time to time, is visited by his daughter, Molly, who has become adept at talking women into marrying her father. But who is this nattily dressed man with dark glasses and a revolver lurking nearby?
