The musical based on the life of Eva Peron opened on Broadway
in 1979 and ran for over 1500 performances, winning seven Tony awards as well as
a Grammy. Eva Peron's short but dramatic life is chronicled through an exciting
musical score that features haunting melodies with Latin and jazz influences.
The story takes us from her existence as a dirt-poor 15-year-old to being the
most powerful and controversial woman in Argentina to her tragic death.
Produced by special arrangement with Rodgers and Hammerstein.
